Do you consider yourself to be an “emotional” person?
Well, the truth is that we are human and this means we are ALL emotional people, whether we want to admit it or not! I am not always the best at expressing my emotions but I know that holding them in or ignoring them can lead to a worse situation later.
I have found that essential oils have become a huge part of my emotional self-care routine and have allowed me to manage stress and sadness more effectively.
We can’t outrun our emotions, as much as we try!! They are always with us and are very much a part of our everyday life, just like breathing in oxygen.
Essential oils and the practice of aromatherapy have been proven to impact both our positive and negative emotions; everything from PMS, stress, and anxiety to PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorders).
If you are looking for some help balancing your emotional state, then over the next few weeks I want to share with you some of my favorite dōTERRA oils that I use to improve my overall mood and sense of well-being. So let’s dive in now, with two tools that I reach for just about every day of the week.
MOTIVATE (and bullet journaling)
I love being busy and having a long to-do list, which probably explains why I am obsessed with bullet journaling and digital planners! Here are a couple of photos of my favorite bullet journal guru’s – Boho Berry.
But, I’ll be honest, even with all these tools at my fingertips, I sometimes feel overwhelmed.
When this happens, I need to stop and breathe in this oil blend right from the bottle or add a few drops to my diffuser. Then I can prioritize my list and determine the next best step to take.
What oils do I turn to most??
Motivate (the Encouraging Blend) gives me the boost I need to do just that!
Motivate is a blend that consists of several oils including Peppermint and Rosemary. Peppermint, is a great pick me up for when you are feeling drowsy and lethargic and supports memory. Rosemary is key to combat lack of concentration and reduce tension, stress, and fatigue.
What tools do you use to stay motivated and on track with your goals and daily actions.
