My head is still buzzing from all of the information I learned while I was at doTERRA’s Global Convention. What do you think about all those new products?!

A major take away for me was a deeper appreciation of the complexity of essential oil chemistry and how important it is to use only a pure oil if you want to get the highest health benefits. Essential oils are popping up everywhere and this is worrisome to me.

At the education convention we heard from a number of chemists and clinical researchers, and one point they really drilled in to us was the fact that many essential oils on the market have been manipulated, contaminated, and adulterated. Many companies choose to do this to create a cheaper product that can be sold on the shelves of stores. These fake oils can even trick the sophisticated testing typically done to validate essential oil purity. This is so SCARY!!

However, when you expose fake oils to real human cells, they just won’t work. The bottom line is… “You can’t fake our biology or our biochemistry!”

When you choose doTERRA, you are choosing essential oils gently and carefully distilled from plants that have been patiently harvested at the perfect moment by experienced growers from around the world. Each doTERRA essential oil is carefully and thoroughly tested using the strict Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® quality protocol. Experienced essential oil users will immediately recognize the superior quality standard for naturally safe and purely effective therapeutic-grade doTERRA essential oils.

To further support this research, check out this unique and in-depth Consumers Advocate Study on essential oil safety. In this study, three essential oils from 11 different brands were sent as unlabeled samples to the Aromatic Plant Research Center in Utah and tested for any adulteration. To give you a sneak peek at the results; “after we tested [doTERRA] oils ourselves through an independent lab, we found their oils were among the few on our list that came back without markers for adulteration.”
